JOURNAY – Two Solo Exhibitions by David Agenjo & Chibuike Uzoma

21 June – 1 July 2017

I am delighted to invite you to my forthcoming solo exhibition at D Contemporary in Mayfair, London, where I will be presenting a new collection of my new series of paintings.

Co-curated by Inês Valle, founder of The Cera Project, and Mara Alves, Curator at D Contemporary.

David Agenjo

David Agenjo is a self-taught Spanish artist whose work explores the visible and hidden aspects of contemporary life through portraiture, textiles, urban environments, and discarded objects. The paintings presented in this exhibition are inspired by his recent artist residencies in the densely populated cities of Shenzhen and Mumbai.

Chibuike Uzoma

Chibuike Uzoma is a Nigerian visual artist whose practice reflects on individual experiences within broader African realities and global histories. Working across painting, drawing, photography, and text, his work explores the complex relationships between people and their social conditions.
